Only about a half hour by car or train from Warsaw’s center there is a suburban town that is a gem.

With some interesting history and walking trails along tree lined streets that include some interesting houses.

One of the attractions in the small town center is a quaint church with a beautiful garden.

This is worth a visit, especially if you have smaller children who will appreciate the man-made pond where a couple turtles sun themselves in the warm months and a few goldfish swin around.

This year a new restaurant, call Alebosco (which is a take on something like “heavenly!”), has opened just down the street from the church. Our crew had a beautiful Sunday lunch.

Being the duck enthusiast that I am I chose just that. I was not disappointed. It’s Worth It In Poland!
