Vegan shoes made locally of “fruit leather” i.e. apple peels. Polish startup promotes the idea of zero waste.

Polish clothing brand Bohema Clothing, after introducing pineapple and cactus shoes, now has another novelty on the domestic market – apple leather shoes. This ingenious startup, in accordance with the zero waste concept produced with cottage industry methods, makes universal vegan footwear that looks amazing. 🌵🍍🍎

Polish creativity

Empathy for animals and creating leather shoes usually doesn’t go hand-in-hand. However, Poland based Bohema Clothing shows that by using plants, you can get very similar results, if not better. 🌵

“We want to create fashion from good, innovative materials and this is the idea that guides us from the beginning. Therefore, we can confidently say that we are not going to stop surprising with new solutions”, says the designer of the brand, Sebastian Szypuła. 🍎

In addition to the emphasis on production for the planet, the brand is also about spreading another model of thinking about fashion, as well as supporting the Polish economy. The production of shoes, as well as packaging, labels, soles and heels takes place in our country – in the Podkarpacie region. The materials for fiber production, e.g. cacti, are already imported from abroad. 🍍
