Cardiac surgeons from a WrocΕ‚aw clinical hospital performed an unusual cardiac tumor resection in a 30-year-old patient. “It shows the possibilities of modern cardiology “, emphasizes prof. dr Piotr Ponikowski, head of the Center of Heart Diseases of the University Clinical Hospital in Wroclaw. The professor pointed out that the decision about the procedure was carried out extremely quickly, because the patient with the first symptoms , was hospitalized only a week earlier. The doctor had to remove the entire tumor and tumor material in the pulmonary veins. Because of this, he had to take out the patient’s heart. “This was a challenge for the group of doctors, but everything went well”,Β  cites Dr. Przybylski. πŸ‘©πŸ˜ƒ
